Jessica Alba Workout Routine And Pictures Of Jessica Alba Adorable Body

Jessica Alba has an amazing a lean and toned body that make both men and women admire her beautiful appearance. Even actor Taylor Lautner revealed that he had a massive crush on the actress since he was 10 years old and still having a hard time getting over it.

So if you are a guy who have a crush on Jessica Alba, you are not alone.

If you are a woman that admire Jessica Alba's physique and want to know her workout and diet secrets, keep reading!

Jessica Alba displayed an incredible figure in most of the movies she appeared in during her career. Did you see Honey (2003), Sin City (2005), Fantastic Four (2005) or Into the Blue (2005)? The star had a lean, fit and healthy body in each of these films and she is always getting ranked in 'sexiest women in the world' lists everywhere. But Jessica Alba also maintains a body of great shape even when she is not preparing for a film role.

Recently, pictures of Jessica Alba on holiday in St. Barts, in the French West Indies made big news due to her still having a blazing body despite having 2 kids since her role in "Into the Blue". So the actress is still having lots of influence for the shape of her body because she still look awesome.

Lets now go into Jessica Alba workout routine and diet plan.

Jessica Alba Workout Routine For Movies

Actors and actresses are known to start a serious fitness program in preparation for film roles so that they can get into top shape for the camera. Jessica Alba seem to pretty much have great genetics, but in order to get her body into best shape for a movie, the star follow various workout programs from her personal trainer.

Jessica Alba is known to have used the 3-2-1 training method by trainer Ramona Braganza before shooting movies, which consists of 3 cardio segments, 2 circuit strength training segments and 1 core segment. This workout routine has reportedly been used by many other celebrities, and they have shown that this training routine produces remarkable results on their body.

Jessica Alba Normal Workout

When she is not preparing her body to look as good as she can to shoot a movie, Jessica Alba still do her workouts to keep in great shape, but opt for something that she can do easily without feeling any pressure or boredom.

Here's what she told Women's health in an interview earlier this year after being asked about her favorite workout:

"I like doing dance classes. That's fun. Like hip hop class, mixed with like core Pilates type exercises. And when I'm in New York, I like to do some spinning classes, group classes, Flywheel is a place I like to go. And sometimes I do sprint intervals just because I hate working out. Anything where I have to do something but I can get my mind off of doing it, that's so much better for me than anything that's repetitive. Or the music has to be loud and I have to be moving".

Jessica Alba Diet

Jessica Alba diet plan is nothing extreme, but she make healthy food choices and like cooking her meals. Cooking your meals and not following fast foods habits is not only good for making sure your body get healthy nutrients it needs, it'll also help you eat less junk so you are better able to manage your body weight.

How To Know The Best Muscle Building Exercises For Your Body Parts

It is not easy to decide which exercise is the best for each person, simply because we are all built differently. There may be an exercise that works fine for one person, but do not give any good results to someone else.

For instance, the 'bent over barbell rows' is recommended by most people as the so called king of back exercises, however I cannot for the life of me feel it working my back. On the other hand, one arm dumbbell rows work great for me. Don't believe that any single specific exercise is a must for a particular body part.

Why Beginners May Need To Work With The Basic Lifts

I understand why trainers suggest the standard compound lifts for each body part. These lifts are key in providing the best "bang for the buck" and are the top exercises for functional strength. The problem is, however, at times it takes weeks to months for a beginner to feel anything with some exercises.

It Takes Some Time to Establish the Mind-To-Muscle Connection

The big compound exercises are important and should be used, but they are the exercises that take the longest to "feel". Over time you will develop a strong mind-to-muscle link and you will really be able to milk these exercises, but until that happens I recommend that you work a little more on exercises that you can really feel.

Give Priority to Exercises that Work for You

During the first four years of lifting weights, I performed seated behind the neck military presses. I heard this was the greatest exercise for getting wider shoulders. Honestly, I was terribly weak at these and they never at no time felt like they were working my shoulders.

My partner was working his way up to one hundred and eighty five pounds for five reps and I was stuck at one hundred for five reps for four years. After I figured that I was not getting any results from doing this lift I decided to do seated dumbbell military presses and stuck with them ever since. I also do some nautilus military presses and they work fine for me as well.

My Workout Partner Hated Barbell Curls

I love flat bar barbell curls however this dude did not feel them in his biceps. He liked concentration curls and Preacher Hammer Curls a lot more, but I get nothing out of these. Therefore, the point is that you need to choose exercises that work for you well. Do not believe you have to stick to what is generally recommended. If what is recommended doesn't work, you have do what works for you.

The Exercises That Don't Work For You Now May Improve Over Time

If you hate incline barbell presses now, do not think that it will always be this way. Over a period of time they may become your favorite. I used to dislike flat bench dumbbell flyes and preferred cable crossovers. I only felt dumbbell flyes working my shoulders and cable crossovers really seemed to really hit my chest muscles. It is not the same anymore. Flat bench dumbbell flyes is now working my chest very hard, so much so I have to avoid doing too much in this exercise.

What I Recommend

Spend most of your time on the exercises that feel great for you now and give them priority. If you do 3 exercises for a body part, make sure at least 2 of them are working the target muscle group. Do those 2 first, and then use one exercise that is suppose to be the best for that muscle group. Over time you will have a compilation of top exercises which will be unique to you.

One Big Mistake People Make When Exercising To Burn Fat That Prevents Them From Getting Lean

We all know that there are different ways to exercise that affects people's fat loss results differently. There are certain exercises that are much more effective at burning calories than others.

For instance, more intense training burns calories more quickly and burns more fat overall. Unlike long, slow cardio workouts, intense training keeps you burning fat even after your workout. If anyone do not pay attention to these variables when opting for an exercise plan they may not gain the fat loss results they want.

However, doing your exercise incorrectly is not really the biggest mistake you can make that will kill fat loss results. The biggest mistake is exercising to burn fat without modifying your diet to make sure that you are eating at a calorie deficit.

Many people have the idea that because they are already exercising they do not need to eat less calories to create a calorie deficit. This is a big mistake.

If you want to lose body fat to get a lean body, you need to create a calorie deficit with your diet and burn off additional calories with exercise. It is critical to make sure your body is in a calorie deficit even when losing calories with exercise.

Eat Bad And Exercise Hard To Make Up For It? Not the Right Idea

We cannot exercise away a junk diet. It can be said that a controlled diet is key for losing fat and exercise is used to help the process. Exercise is great for fat loss but if your diet is not dialed in it won't get you lean.

It's not uncommon to see people follow an exercise-only fat loss program in their efforts to get lean, and it's also not surprising that these are the people that never stop looking soft and chubby despite exercising hard everyday.

One cannot benefit from the fat burning effects of exercise if he or she continues to refill their body with excess calories.

Take note, your body will store all excess calories you feed to eat as fat. It's much easier and faster, unless you have a really fast metabolism, for your body to store excess calories when you consume them than lose calories when you exercise.

Exercising to burn fat is good, but make sure that you are also eating to create a calorie deficit if you want the fat to go away from your body.

Running Is More Effective To Burn Fat Than Walking

Nowadays it is believed the best way to reach a target heart rate and burn body fat steadily is to walk at a moderate pace on a treadmill. It’s common to see in just about every gym that you go to people moving slowly during their exercise session on the treadmill.

These are the same people that never seem to reduce enough body fat despite exercising this way year after year. Honestly, this isn't the most effective way to exercise to burn body fat.  You need to start running if you want to get very lean.

In Rocky 1, 3 and 4, Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) was running to burn fat and it worked wonders for him. Actually, his cardio workout was not confined to a gym. The guy ran up and down stairs, on the beach and through the snow. The point is he ran a lot to burn fat, not just walk.

Running Vs Walking To Burn Fat

Whenever one walks on a treadmill and meet a moderate heart rate, a large percentage of the calories that get burn is going to come from fat. If you run, a lower percentage of the calories you burn come from fat, but you will burn a higher amount of calories from the workout.

When you run, you will burn more total fat and more calories. You may burn a lower percentage of the calories from fat, but the total is still much higher than walking.

When You Run To Burn Fat You Will Continue To Burn Fat Even After the Workout Finishes.

Here is the trick. Walking does not boost your metabolism as much as running. When walking to burn fat you are  really only burning fat during the workout. On the other hand, running boosts your metabolism and turns your body into a fat burning machine - melting body fat away even while you are sleeping. The better you get at running, the leaner you will become.

Think about it, have you ever seen a track athlete that looks overweight? You can do a lot of walking, but you will be wasting too much time if you want to get a lean body fast? I observed a lot of folks that walk for near around a hour per day and never seem to improve the look of their body.

Try to get into the habit of running to burn fat instead of walking when your aim is to get lean quickly and you will see much better results.

Before she became pregnant, Megan Fox focused her diet and workout routine on maintaining an ultra slim body. Even though the actress maintains a very slender figure she normally keep a bit of curve which is the look lots of women prefer to have instead of the extremely skinny body type.

Megan once lost all her curves by going on a strict vegan diet which lead her to display a completely skinny frame. The star remained on the vegan diet for a few months then ditched it after losing too much weight. She said: "For a year and a half, until about four months ago, I followed a strict vegan diet based on raw fruits and vegetables, no bread, sugar and coffee.

But I had lost too much weight". So below is Megan Fox's normal diet and workout routine for maintaining her captivating slim physique with a little curve, which hopefully she regains after making her baby.

Megan Fox Diet Plan

Fox's personal trainer Harley Pasternak revealed that the actress followed his 5 Factor diet, which makes Megan eat five small meals a day and includes the five dietary factors including healthy fats, lean protein, fibre and a non-sugar drink. Harley added 'If Megan needs to snack between meals then she has our 5-Factor crisps which keeps her satiated between meals.'

Megan Fox Workout Routine

Megan and Pasternak trained three times a week doing circuit training. Circuit training is short bursts of resistance exercise using moderate weights and frequent repetitions, followed quickly by another burst of exercise targeting a different muscle group.

She got 25 minutes of exercise each day broken down into 5 sessions that last 5 minutes each. When it comes to maintaining her curves, Pasternak added: 'Megan wants her body to reflect who she is. She looks awesome. She’s natural, softly spoken and her personality shines through her fantastic shape. That's right, she does look great in pictures and movies. No denying that.

If you're a woman that want a look similar to Megan Fox's then your aim should be to get a slim and toned body with a little muscle mass in all the right places. The Best Cardio Workout to Burn Fat Quickly

The 2 Different Common Approaches To Cardio Workout

When it comes to burning body fat, there are a few different approaches for you to chose from.

Most trainers would recommend that you take the low intensity approach to cardio. But is this the best cardio workout to burn fat quickly?

The concept of doing your cardio at a level of low intensity is that most of the calories that's burned will be coming from body fat. Lots of folks believe that if you workout too hard, you are burning off carbohydrate energy in the body and not targeting fat.

Many people claim that more total calories are burned if people exercise at a higher level of intensity.

They conclude that if you just burn more calories than you consume in a day, you will lose body fat. So now we will look in more detail at each school of thought.

Low Intensity Cardio Workout Approach

Low intensity cardio is the most popular type of cardio, and is promoted by many personal trainers.

Low intensity cardio works at targeting body fat, and that is why it is recommended by many personal trainers.

University studies have proven low intensity cardio uses fat calories instead of burning muscle carbohydrate calories for energy.

If the body burns fat for energy, you will lose body fat. It just makes sense.

It is important to choose cardio machines that can track your heart rate. It will let you monitor your heart rate during your cardio workout to allow you to hit the ideal intensity level.

After about 10 minutes or so, you should be close to reaching your ideal heart rate. Staying within that target heart rate for at least 30 minutes is what is recommended by most experts.

The High Intensity Cardio Workout

This form of cardio is less utilized. High intensity training involves pushing past your pain threshold a bit, so fewer people choose this route.

This cardio method can give great results in burning body fat if done properly. The total calories burned in high intensity cardio are greater than low intensity cardio.

Some of those calories come from your body fat and some come from glycogen (carbohydrates stores within your muscles).

When you burn more calories in your cardio workout than what you consume, you create a calorie deficit. If you burn  more calories during the day than what you eat in food, you will lose weight.

The Limitations of the 2 Types of Cardio Workouts

Once you get your heart rate up to the correct level, the low intensity cardio workout will burn body fat.

The downside is that it can take up to 10 minutes to get your heart rate to the correct level to burn body fat.

The first 10 minutes of this cardio workout are somewhat unproductive.

High intensity cardio is hard to maintain for long periods of time since it takes a lot of effort.

Working at an intense level for over 10-15 minutes is extremely difficult.

How to Combine The Two Approaches Into One Awesome Cardio Workout

When performed in a certain manner, it is possible to benefit from doing both types of cardio in the same workout.

You can make the first ten minutes of the low intensity cardio workout productive, by starting your cardio workout off at a high intensity level.

Find a treadmill or exercise bike and set it at a high level. Push yourself really hard for 10-15 minutes. Once you are really working up a sweat, switch to a low intensity and keep it there for 20-30 minutes.

This will burn calories and create a calorie deficit as well as burning body fat during the workout.

I maintain an 8% body fat percentage year round using this cardio approach.

Reducing Calories To Get Ripped With Less Exercise

Work Out 3 Times a Week To Get the Perfect Body?

One summer, I resolved to reduce the quantity of time I was working out. As a result, my new rule was to only go to the gym three times a week. I would stick to this 3 times a week workout plan, no matter whether or not I achieve my goal the week beforehand.

There were times I only went 2 times a week, but most of the times I managed to get around to it 3 times weekly. Even with this reduction in gym visits, my body still looks great as usual. That's definitely a plus!

Lowering Calorie Intake To Minimize Time Needed in the Gym

No need to go on a crash diet in order to reduce your calorie intake, just properly control your meal portions.

Just eat a little bit less than you usually do, while only occasionally eating a large meal. It's not as hard as you may think.

I didn't need as much food since I wasn't exercising as much, which makes you hungry. There was no strict calorie counting involved; all you have to do is eat less than you feel you normally do.

Intermittent Fasting is also an important part of my weekly meal plan.

Shorten Workout Time As You Slow Down Calorie Intake

Don't worry about cutting back too far if you're not reducing your workout plan that much. Even refraining from eating 100 more calories than normal will help.

Walking more and getting out and about more often in addition to this will have the same result as a trip to the gym.

You could even improve your health over a certain period of time. Just don't eat as much, and do more walking. It's easy and effective to boot.

Reasons You May Need to Work Out More

If you want to lose weight and save time effectively, really hit it hard when you first start working out, and just do the minimum maintenance once you reach your physical or weight goal.

If you have a specific goal for looking good or being strong, like athletic training or events, or even auditions, you will need to increase gym time. From day to day, however, take it a little easier on yourself.

Exercise Rigorously at the Start of Your Regimen

If you spend your first three years or so of strength training getting as strong as you possibly can, it will help you. If you're doing this, 5 days a week training is perfectly normal.

Once you reach your goal, though, be sure to back off a bit. From here, just do what you can to maintain the look you want without sacrificing your free time.

If you're active enough outside of the gym, it'll be much less work for you as you train, as you don't need as much exercise.
