A Good Workout For The Shoulders To Get The Wide Shoulder Look

If you want to create the wide shoulder appearance for your body you must choose the right exercises in your shoulder workout that hit the right muscles.

A person's shoulder has three muscles - the front deltoid, the side deltoid, and the rear deltoid. If your aim is to create width of the shoulder it is important to focus your shoulder workout mainly around the side deltoid.

The Exercises in Your Shoulder Workout That Emphasize the Side Deltoid.

In order to really isolate the side deltoids, include plenty of lateral raise variations in your shoulder workout. Many people like starting their shoulder workout with shoulder presses, but I prefer to start my shoulder workout with lateral raises.

When you start your shoulder workout with lateral raises you pre-fatigue your side deltoid muscles. When you hit the shoulder presses, you will completely blast the side deltoid muscles.

When you perform any pressing movements, attempt to keep your elbows to the side of your body. Don't allow your elbows to drift forward, as this will put the emphasis on the front deltoid muscles.

Exercises You Should Avoid in Your Shoulder Workout.

The larger your traps are, the narrower your shoulders will appear. I recommend stop doing all shrugging and upright rows in your shoulder workout.

A wide and square shoulder appearance is accomplished by emphasis on the deltoid muscles during your shoulder workout. In my opinion, big traps give you a rounded shoulder look and create an unattractive physique.

How Many Sets and Reps For The Shoulder Workout.

Your present shoulder development will affect your shoulder workout. In the event that you have small shoulders, I recommend using a high-volume approach to your shoulder workout.

By performing a high volume of work you can increase muscle mass in a specific muscle group. If you have smaller shoulders, you should aim to get a pump in the shoulders during your shoulder workout. This is done by pushing a higher number of reps and less rest in between sets.

I would do 15-20 total sets stick to the 8-12 reps range for shoulders. For people with bigger shoulders I recommend you perform about half of the volume of lifts during a shoulder workout. Aim for 8-10 total sets in your shoulder workout and 5-10 reps per set.

What's The Best Cardio for Your Shoulder Workout?

Cardio is actually one of the most important aspect of a good shoulder workout. Cardio is a key factor for getting that lean and angular look.

The lifts in your shoulder workout will build width in the shoulders, but cardio will give you a smaller waist. Low body fat will emphasize the side delts even further.

Cardio will actually put finishing touches on every body part. It is an important part of your shoulder workout and should be performed year round.

Hugh Jackman Wolverine Workout - The Workout Routine And Diet Plan Hugh Jackman Used For Wolverine

Hugh Jackman is one of The Most Muscular Actors In Hollywood

This article will focus on Hugh Jackman methods which he used to get in such good shape for Wolverine. In case you haven't noticed Hugh jackman is buff. The man has a great muscular physique.

Hugh Jackman was in pretty good shape before he even prepared for his role as Wolverine, but Hugh wanted to add a bit more muscle. It was actually more important for Hugh Jackman to stay lean while gaining muscle. You see, Wolverine was already ripped, it wouldn't have worked for Hugh Jackman to get bulky.

Two Phases: Tempo Phase for Mass followed by Strength Training Phase. Each phase lasted 6 weeks.

Gaining Muscle Phase: Hugh Jackman's trainer changed the tempo that Hugh had been lifting with to force the muscles to adapt...to force the muscles to grow. He had Hugh lift the weight for 3 seconds up and one second down. At first this limited the amount of weight he could lift, but as he adapted it help him put on a lot of lean mass.

Strength Training Phase: This phase was all about lifting as heavy as possible with no rules on tempo. He just wanted to see how heavy he could lift. The great thing about the previous phase is that it made these weights seem lighter. Hugh actually was benching 315 for reps before filming began. He alternated these two phased for 5 months.

How He Stayed Lean During This Training

The last week of each phase, he would lift only once per week and concentrate hard on interval cardio. These workouts were intense and meant to help him burn off any little bit of fat he accumulated during the 6 weeks of each phase.

Every Friday was Bootcamp

He didn't want to follow a typical bodybuilder routine, because he needed to have a sleek strong look, not slow and bulky. This is why he would take part in an hour and a half bootcamp every Friday. It was brutal bodyweight and interval style training to boost the metabolism and keep him lean while gaining strength.

Summary: Hugh Jackman end up looking amazing for his role as Wolverine. He did it by gaining muscle at a slow rate while staying lean the whole time. For most people it is a mistake to follow the bodybuilding approach to gaining muscle...it simply isn't healthy or as effective to gain all the extra fat along with the muscle. Use an approach similar to Hugh Jackman for best results when aiming to get ripped.

Daniel Craig James Bond Workout - Get A Body Like Daniel Craig In James Bond 007

Here Is My Structure For A James Bond Workout

Daniel Craig is another great example of the ideal male body. In 1999, the year of the movie 'Fight Club', Brad Pitt had the ideal physique.

It's over a decade since Fight Club came out, but I would say that Daniel Craig's James Bond body might be another example for men to aim for.

Both Brad Pitt  and Daniel Craig have similar physiques in the 2 movies, but Daniel Craig possess a bit more muscle mass.

To Get a physique like Brad Pitt in Fight Club, I would recommend splitting your time working out to 25 percent lifting weights and 75 percent doing cardio. The Daniel Craig James Bond Workout would require lifting more, I'll recommend 40 percent weight lifting and 60 percent cardio.

How I Recommend Eating For A James Bond Workout

James Bond put on a little more muscle than Brad Pitt's Character Tyler Durden did in Fight Club.

When Daniel Craig was questioned about his diet plan in an interview prior to Casino Royale, his answer was "I was on a high protein diet". Brad Pitt on the other hand was indulged in the Zone Diet before Fight Club.

The Zone Diet recommends that 30% of daily caloric intake comes from protein. For the James Bond workout, I would bump that number up to 50% and cut back on carbs and fat a bit.

A James Bond Workout Would Need More Calories Than Tyler Durden Workout

Don't get this wrong, Brad Pitt's body fat percentage was very low in Fight Club.

I am good at estimating body fat percentage and I would say that Brad's fat percentage in Fight Club was around 4-6 percent. In Casino Royale, James Bond appears to be around an 8% body fat percentage.

Both physiques are impressive, but Daniel Craig had it a bit easier. In order to get to the 5% body fat level, you really have to keep calorie intake low.

Since James Bond was bigger and more of a realistic body fat percentage, he could allow himself to eat more than Tyler Durden. For the James Bond Workout plan, you could eat 6 meals per day with ample protein and low carbs.

Compared to Tyler Durden, James Bond has it good. I guarantee you that Tyler Durden eats much less than James Bond...probably 4 really low calorie meals per day.

Moderate Cardio for the James Bond Workout

In order to get down below 6% body fat like Tyler Durden, you need to really concentrate on High Intensity Interval Training to naturally increase your HGH levels. Plus, you need to do moderate cardio for longer periods of time. For the James Bond Workout, you probably will be able to skip the High Intensity Interval Cardio.

To maintain 8% body fat, you can get away with sticking to the traditional moderate intensity cardio for 30-45 minutes or so after each workout.

In the James Bond Workout, you will only need to add High Intensity Cardio, if you reach a sticking point in burning body fat. The James Bond Workout, Shaken Not Stirred!

Justin Bieber Trying To Build Muscle - Will Justin Bieber Become Muscular?

Pop sensation Justin Bieber is reportedly trying to build up some muscle mass. The 18-year-old singing superstar told Access Hollywood that he’s working on his “guns".

"I’m doing different things, different work outs”.“We do a lot of body weight stuff, just trying to put on some muscle, get some guns going on,” said Bieber in the interview with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.

There Were Rumours Justin Was Aiming For A Taylor Lautner Type Physique

Apparently, Justin Bieber has been working on gaining muscle a long time now. There were once rumours  that he was aiming to get ripped like Taylor Lautner, who at the age of 17 successfully built a very impressive muscular physique to play his character Jacob Black in Twilight: New Moon.

Justin Bieber's hard work in the gym seem to be paying off a little because the singer was confident enough to show-off his physique in a photo shoot with Seventeen Magazine.

However, if Justin Bieber wants to look ripped like Taylor Lautner, he still has a lot of work to do.

Will Justin Bieber gain muscle and get an impressive muscular body that'll have everyone talking? Well, that depends on a number of factors which we will discuss below.

Where Justin Has An Advantage

Justin Bieber has one clear advantage when it comes to putting on muscle mass: He is pretty young and just began to work out.

Young guys in their late teens to mid twenties can  build muscle mass rapidly by eating right and working out hard.

However, there are obstacles that can prevent some young guys from gaining the body that they desire.

Genetics plays a critical role in the way by which guys gain muscle as well as how they effectively manage body fat.

In order to get a lean and muscular body that'll look impressive to most people you want to put on a good amount of muscle mass without fat.

What Justin Bieber Needs To Do

In order for Justin Bieber to effectively and properly build up muscle mass, he needs to work with the right diet and workout program for his specific condition and body type.

Justin Bieber  looks like an Ectomorph - which is the body type that find it harder to put on muscle mass.

Therefore, he'll need to eat a good level above maintenance, lift heavy and be consistent with his training in to build up bigger muscle.

Justin will need to spend some time on the big compound lifts - such as squats and deadlift, which is very effective for building up muscle.

The singer should also limit cardio to help him gain weight in the fastest and most effective way.

He'll need to work with the right volume of sets and reps with very short rest periods between sets, lift heavy enough to stress the muscle in each workout session and make sure his muscles get enough rest for recovery.

Can Justin really endure this stuff to build muscle?

Working Out To Build Muscle Is A Lot Of Physical Pressure

Taylor Lautner was an active participant in martial arts before he started weight training, which may have helped prepared him physically for his training to build muscle.

I believe I read Justin played hockey and football when he was young, and he's also an active performer on stage, so he is not physically awkward.

However, another factor that drove Taylor Lautner to work hard at building his body was his career depended on it.

It was a necessity for Jacob Black to look more muscular for New Moon. Taylor Lautner knew he had to work hard to give his character the required appearance.

Justin Bieber on the other hand don't have anything to lose if  he do not get a muscular body. But once he develop the right mindset, work hard and stick to his program he'll succeed at getting ripped.

Whatever Justin needs to do in order to successfully pack on muscle he'll be guided accordingly by his well paid personal trainer.

Reducing Calories To Get Ripped With Less Exercise

Work Out 3 Times a Week To Get the Perfect Body?

One summer, I resolved to reduce the quantity of time I was working out. As a result, my new rule was to only go to the gym three times a week. I would stick to this 3 times a week workout plan, no matter whether or not I achieve my goal the week beforehand.

There were times I only went 2 times a week, but most of the times I managed to get around to it 3 times weekly. Even with this reduction in gym visits, my body still looks great as usual. That's definitely a plus!

Lowering Calorie Intake To Minimize Time Needed in the Gym

No need to go on a crash diet in order to reduce your calorie intake, just properly control your meal portions.

Just eat a little bit less than you usually do, while only occasionally eating a large meal. It's not as hard as you may think.

I didn't need as much food since I wasn't exercising as much, which makes you hungry. There was no strict calorie counting involved; all you have to do is eat less than you feel you normally do.

Intermittent Fasting is also an important part of my weekly meal plan.

Shorten Workout Time As You Slow Down Calorie Intake

Don't worry about cutting back too far if you're not reducing your workout plan that much. Even refraining from eating 100 more calories than normal will help.

Walking more and getting out and about more often in addition to this will have the same result as a trip to the gym.

You could even improve your health over a certain period of time. Just don't eat as much, and do more walking. It's easy and effective to boot.

Reasons You May Need to Work Out More

If you want to lose weight and save time effectively, really hit it hard when you first start working out, and just do the minimum maintenance once you reach your physical or weight goal.

If you have a specific goal for looking good or being strong, like athletic training or events, or even auditions, you will need to increase gym time. From day to day, however, take it a little easier on yourself.

Exercise Rigorously at the Start of Your Regimen

If you spend your first three years or so of strength training getting as strong as you possibly can, it will help you. If you're doing this, 5 days a week training is perfectly normal.

Once you reach your goal, though, be sure to back off a bit. From here, just do what you can to maintain the look you want without sacrificing your free time.

If you're active enough outside of the gym, it'll be much less work for you as you train, as you don't need as much exercise.
