How To Get Nice Lean Abs And Reveal An Awesome Body - Not As Complicated As You May Think

No matter what type of physique you have or how lean you believe you are, your body would not look very spectacular if you do no have nice abs. Most women that have flat toned abs and men that have six pack abs showing in their midsection will have a body that look attractive because splendid abs will make anyone's entire body more stunning.

Even though great abs is a key feature of an attractive physique, a lot of people who are keen on keeping a fit body do not have the right look for their abs.

A major reason so many people do not have eye-catching abs despite making continuous efforts to get it is not because this is extremely difficult to accomplish, it's because people are often misinformed and doing a lot of wrong things in their efforts to get a better-looking midsection.

You Need To Get To A Lower Body Fat percentage To Get Ripped Abs

The key to getting Nice abs is not really by spending all your time on special ab-targeted workouts. It's losing body fat to get to a low body fat percentage that is your pathway to eye-popping abs.

I read this article in the Daily Mail UK site recently, and the article tells the story of a British man who had an accident that break his angle. As a result, he was forced to keep away from doing any exercise or physical activity that would've put too much pressure on his foot for 6 months.

He gained a load of fat around his abdominal area due to his lack of exercise during that period. But even though he was unable to use his foot to do the exercises he wanted, he decided he would do something to get back to a good fitness level.

So what did he do?

with the guidance of a personal trainer, the guy just cut out drinking alcohol from his otherwise healthy diet and took up swimming as his exercise because swimming didn't put as much pressure on his recovering foot.

His routine was to swim for 45 minutes 2 days a week. After just 6 weeks his body transformed from having a rounded midsection bulging with fat to a lean physique with amazing six pack abs.

Focus On Fat-Burning Exercises And Controlling Your Diet To Get The Nice Flat Abs You Want

The story of this determined British man is a perfect example to show that getting flat abs is not really a result of direct ab exercises or the use of special ab workout equipment. You are better able to reveal your abs by eating right and performing effective fat-burning exercises to burn body fat to get down to a low body fat level.

And it's interesting that you probably never looked at swimming as one the most effective type of exercise for burning fat, yet the guy was able to get six pack abs by doing it for less than an hour two times a week and maintaining a healthy diet.

I'm not saying that this exact routine will work in the same way for you, but hopefully you get the idea that the majority of your efforts towards getting awesome abs should be focused on losing body fat.

Swimming is good if you have access to a pool, but jogging and running works fine unless you have a problem with your foot like our guy talked about above.

A highly effective fat-burning program however should include a variety of exercises including cardio, HIIT and strength training.

So What's The use Of Abs Exercises?

Abs exercises such as crunches and leg raises are good for developing the ab muscles which is important to make the abs look more solid and toned, but they won't burn off the fat around your abdominal area that is covering up the abs. The layers of fat have to be burned off in order for the abs to become visible, but ab exercises won't get rid of the fat.

Therefore, if you have been devoted to doing ab exercises trying to get your abs to show up, you may want to drop them for a while and focus on fat-burning exercises and cleaning out your diet of certain foods and drinks, until you get to a low body fat level which will reveal those nice abs you want.

How To Really Get A Six Pack Abs

What is the one thing that all of the popular models and most film stars have in common? The simple answer is six pack abs.

A defined middle section is considered to be the Holy Grail of fitness.

If someone has six pack abs, that person is usually considered to be in extremely good shape. I believe this may be due to the fact that fat in the abdominal area is usually the last to go, so if someone is defined in that area they're probably in great shape all over.

The strange thing is that if you go into most gyms, you may find that below 5 percent of the trainees actually have six pack abs. Why is that so? This is due to the fact that lots of people do not accurately understand what it takes to get a six pack abs.

Will Working the Core Muscles Really Help You Get Six Pack Abs?

Most people in gyms these days largely focus on core exercises.

They are advised by personal trainers to do all sorts of crazy exercises on exercise balls which supposedly forces the body to stabilize itself using "core muscles."

Focusing on the core muscles supposedly tones the abs to achieve a six pack abs. I see personal trainers devoting close to 1/2 of the client's time focusing on exercises which work the core.

The funny thing is that despite doing this week after week none of these people do not get closer to getting six pack abs.

Will Performing Tons of Crunches Make You Get Six Pack Abs?

Another advice given to people is to work the abdominal area hard every day. There are many exercises that focus directly on the abdominal muscles.

Lots of people use various floor exercises such as crunches or sit-ups. People also use machine workouts in their quest for a six pack abs.

Some people recommend working the abs every day or every other day. Many of them tell you to use high reps and no weight or heavy weight like every other muscle.

I see many people do this every week and guess what..not many of those people have six pack abs!

Learn from Someone Who Have Six Pack Abs.

I have a very defined midsection I maintain year round, however it was not always this way.

I followed the different recommendations above and failed to get that six pack look. Believe it or not, a back injury helped me figure out what works best to get six pack abs! Let me elaborate...I sustained a back injury 5 years ago and was unable to perform any crunch movement without pain. I was bummed out, because I had a vacation to Cancun planned 8 months later.

I wanted to look great in a swimsuit and have firm six pack abs. I had to give up on working my abs directly for 8 full months! I was convinced that my abs would look flabby.

A crazy thing happened...I had amazing six pack abs in time for my vacation and I didn't do one ab exercise for 8 months!

My Approach to Getting Six Pack Abs.

Since that time I haven't worked abs directly at all and my midsection looks better than ever. I am convinced that having six pack abs showing is 95% about your body fat percentage and maybe 5% or less about working the abs.

You see, all of us already have a nice six pack...it is just hidden under a layer of fat. I guarantee that if you get your body fat to 10% or lower, you will have amazing six pack abs for the world to see.

My recommendation is to drop your ab workout and spend that time on cardio. You want nice abs? Hit the Treadmill or the Elliptical Machine. Seriously, it's the only way you will ever see those abs.

How To Get The Body Of A Male Fitness Model And A Few Male Fitness Model Pictures

Male fitness models build muscle but do not become huge and overly muscular like bodybuilders. It's proven that women find the male fitness model physique more attractive than the bulky bodybuilder look.

However, many bodybuilders tend to look down on guys that possess the fitness model type physique.

You see many bodybuilders are under the impression that everyone wants to be as big and strong as them.
They see a guy who is lifting lighter weights and doing cardio as someone who isn't as successful in the gym as them.

They mistakenly believe that bigger muscles equates to being more attractive to women. Nothing could be further from the truth!

The Male Fitness Model Body Is Held As The Hollywood Sex Symbol Look

Men in the entertainment industry who're held as sex symbols are not huge and buff.

Hollywood stars such as Brad Pitt, Matthew McConaughey, Taye Diggs, Shermar Moore, Taylor Laurtner and  Daniel Craig are just some of the names who're regarded as sexy men.

These men are muscular but are well defined. How many huge and buff bodybuilders you know are held as sex symbols? I'm sure the answer is not much.

Therefore, it pays to have a lean muscle build, not an overloaded bulky body.

Male Fitness Models Have To Workout Harder Than Bodybuilders

Lifting weights and bulking up is MUCH easier than burning body fat and getting lean. No matter how big you are...you know it's true!

To get big, you just lift with a high volume of lifts and progressively increase the weight over time.

You don't have to be on a strict diet and you don't have to hit cardio hard. To get lean, you have to lift to maintain your muscle mass, you have to watch what you eat, and you have to hit cardio like a maniac.

The reason you see very few guys in the gym with "six pack abs" is that getting lean is tough work.

A Simple Approach to Leaning Down if You Are Bulky

Getting that lean look is actually simple, but not easy. If you are kind of bulky right now and need to lean down you just need to do a few things:

1) Perform Intense Cardio At Least 4-5 Times Per Week for 30-45 Minutes

2) Multiply Your Body Weight by 12. The Number You Get Will Be The Total Maximum Amount Of Calories You Are Allowed To Eat Each Day...Aim for Less If Possible

3) Quit Obsessing Over Strength

4) Quit Obsessing Over Protein Consumption

5) When In Doubt, Cut Back on Lifting And Increase Cardio

6) You Will See "Six Pack Abs" When You Get Lean Enough. Don't Go Overboard With Crunches and Ab Movements. Cardio is Your Ticket To a Six Pack.

Quit Trying To Impress Guys In The Gym...The Goal Is To Impress Women

When you are hitting cardio hard and limiting your calories, you won't get as big of a pump as you are used to. You will also most likely lose a bit of strength.

The big and strong guys in the gym command respect from all the other guys in the gym.

I made the decision that it was more important for me to be physically attractive to women, than it was to impress the other gym rats.

I aimed to get a physique similar to Matthew McConaughey and haven't looked back since.

I don't care if the guys in my gym think that Matthew McConaughey is a wimp...women drool over this guy. Aim for The Male Fitness Model Look  and Don't Look Back!

Six Pack Abs - Get Six Pack Abs And You Will Have A Rare Possession

Why Are Six Pack Abs So Rare?

A shredded middle section is a rare thing people possess these days. You may see lots of models and actors in magazines and movies with a six pack, but you don't often see a regular man or woman with a six pack walking around.

Most people after awhile give up on their efforts to get a six pack. They believe that it is something only movie stars or super models should have. I'm telling you to drop that way of thinking!

Lifting a Large Amount of Weights is Not As Impressive as Toned Abs

There are many more guys who can bench 315 pounds, than there are guys with a defined midsection. Lots of women can go jogging over 6 miles, but not many women have a 6 pack abs.

If you desire to be exceptional, then you should aim to get a six pack abs. If you are already spending time in the gym trying  and you don't have a 6 pack, then you are spending your time doing the wrong things.

You will need to change your focus if you want nice muscle tone in this part of your body.

When Your Abs Are Defined, Your Whole Body Will Look Great

When losing body fat stomach fat is usually the last to go. If you reach the point where your abs are visible, then I guarantee you that the rest of your body will look great as well.

I think this is the reason that people find a toned midsection so sexy. They are aware that the rest of the body must be toned as well! So if you focus on getting a 6 pack, everything else will fall into place.

Getting a Six Pack is Mainly About Diet and Cardio

I promise you that you could leave out all those crunching and sit up movements and get amazing abs. How do I know this?

Well, I haven't done a crunch in over 5 years and my abs are more defined then ever. Have you ever seen the TV show "Survivor".

By the end of the show almost every person has really defined six pack abs and I know that none of them got there by ab exercises. You do not have to go to that extreme, but it does show you that low body fat will give you a six pack.

Ab Exercises Probably Account for Only 10% of the Results

I don't think you need to directly workout the abdominal area to get a great six pack, but if you want pick one and hit it for 4-5 sets.

The majority of your time should be spent on a bit of lifting for the rest of your body and intense cardio. As far as choices of cardio go, running on a treadmill or running outside is the way to go.

Your abs work harder with running, because there is a certain amount of balancing involves between your legs and upper body. If you are on an exercise bike, your abs don't have to work at all. Your body is being stabilized by the seat.

Conclusion: You probably just need to increase the cardio and decrease the calories if you don't have six pack abs. I know it sounds almost too simple, but believe me it will work for you.
