A Workout Plan To Build Muscle - Helping You Choose A Good Workout Plan To Build Muscle properly

Let's be real! you cannot build an impressive muscular body without a good workout plan.

If you are going to just hit the gym whenever you want and workout how ever you feel like, most likely you won't get any worthwhile results from your efforts.

Whether you have a plan in your head or written somewhere you must be following a properly structured routine to get effective and impressive results.

Choose A Workout Plan That'll Give You The Specific Results You Desire

If you want to build a hotel you cannot construct it with a plan that is designed to build a hut. Simply put, you won't build an attractive muscular body if you follow a workout plan that is not designed for it.

Don't think that any workout plan will give you the results you're after. Most workout plans are created to build muscle in the path of the standard way of just putting on muscle mass.

These plans are not developed with any strategy to produce results in any special way to ensure you end up with a nice-looking physique. This may be o.k if you don't care much about looking attractive or if you don't have a specific goal for your body that you want to achieve.

If your intention is not just to build muscle but  to strategically add mass to get a specific outcome, combat a particular problem or look in a special way you should choose a workout plan that is created to help you achieve your precise goal.

Gaining Muscle is Easy But Getting Rid Of Fat is What Makes You Look Really Stunning

I cannot understand why so many people are obsessed with gaining muscle mass, when it is burning body fat and slimming down that gives you an attractive body.

A sexy body is one that looks lean and toned, not overly muscular. So why are so many people focusing their efforts on the wrong part of a good workout.

Lifting Weights is Much More Fun Than Cardio

Lifting weights is more fun than running on a treadmill for 30 minutes, but that doesn't mean it is where you spend the majority of your time.

Everyone enjoys the lifting part of the workout, because it is immediately rewarding. Your muscles instantly look better after just a bit of lifting...cardio is more of a long-term deal.

You don't look that much better after a hard cardio workout...you will see the effects weeks later.

Gaining Muscle is Actually Easier than Getting Toned

Guys in the free-weight room try to give you the impression that lifting is tough. Gaining muscle is actually extremely easy, just lift for a lot of sets and try to get stronger in the 6-12 rep range.

After your workout is done, go home and eat a protein rich meal. Getting toned involves pushing past the pain barrier a bit and expending energy.

Getting Great Muscle Tone Involves Stricter Eating Than Gaining Muscle

When you are trying to gain muscle, you get to pig out a bit. If you are trying to get lean and sexy, you have to avoid a lot of food temptations. Getting toned also involves at least 30 minutes of cardio, which isn't always fun.

Those So Called "Tough" Free-Weight Guys Are Actually Sissies Compared to People Doing Cardio

The ironic thing about guys in the weight room is that they are the ones doing the easy workout. Don't let the obnoxious "macho" behavior and grunting fool you...lifting weights is easy.

You never run out of breath, you get to rest, and it never really hurts like a hardcore cardio workout can.

In a funny way, the hot 25-year-old girl on the exercise bike is tougher than the 240 pound Mongoloid lifter in the free-weight room.

Putting on Too Much Muscle Will Make Your Body Repulsive to the Opposite Sex

The funny thing about excessive muscle mass is that it isn't attractive anyway! I would recommend that people spend 2/3 of their time in the gym on cardio and the other third lifting.

This is the best way to develop an attractive and sexy body. Lifting may be more fun, but burning fat is what is going to make you more attractive. The choice is yours!

How To Get The Body Of A Male Fitness Model And A Few Male Fitness Model Pictures

Male fitness models build muscle but do not become huge and overly muscular like bodybuilders. It's proven that women find the male fitness model physique more attractive than the bulky bodybuilder look.

However, many bodybuilders tend to look down on guys that possess the fitness model type physique.

You see many bodybuilders are under the impression that everyone wants to be as big and strong as them.
They see a guy who is lifting lighter weights and doing cardio as someone who isn't as successful in the gym as them.

They mistakenly believe that bigger muscles equates to being more attractive to women. Nothing could be further from the truth!

The Male Fitness Model Body Is Held As The Hollywood Sex Symbol Look

Men in the entertainment industry who're held as sex symbols are not huge and buff.

Hollywood stars such as Brad Pitt, Matthew McConaughey, Taye Diggs, Shermar Moore, Taylor Laurtner and  Daniel Craig are just some of the names who're regarded as sexy men.

These men are muscular but are well defined. How many huge and buff bodybuilders you know are held as sex symbols? I'm sure the answer is not much.

Therefore, it pays to have a lean muscle build, not an overloaded bulky body.

Male Fitness Models Have To Workout Harder Than Bodybuilders

Lifting weights and bulking up is MUCH easier than burning body fat and getting lean. No matter how big you are...you know it's true!

To get big, you just lift with a high volume of lifts and progressively increase the weight over time.

You don't have to be on a strict diet and you don't have to hit cardio hard. To get lean, you have to lift to maintain your muscle mass, you have to watch what you eat, and you have to hit cardio like a maniac.

The reason you see very few guys in the gym with "six pack abs" is that getting lean is tough work.

A Simple Approach to Leaning Down if You Are Bulky

Getting that lean look is actually simple, but not easy. If you are kind of bulky right now and need to lean down you just need to do a few things:

1) Perform Intense Cardio At Least 4-5 Times Per Week for 30-45 Minutes

2) Multiply Your Body Weight by 12. The Number You Get Will Be The Total Maximum Amount Of Calories You Are Allowed To Eat Each Day...Aim for Less If Possible

3) Quit Obsessing Over Strength

4) Quit Obsessing Over Protein Consumption

5) When In Doubt, Cut Back on Lifting And Increase Cardio

6) You Will See "Six Pack Abs" When You Get Lean Enough. Don't Go Overboard With Crunches and Ab Movements. Cardio is Your Ticket To a Six Pack.

Quit Trying To Impress Guys In The Gym...The Goal Is To Impress Women

When you are hitting cardio hard and limiting your calories, you won't get as big of a pump as you are used to. You will also most likely lose a bit of strength.

The big and strong guys in the gym command respect from all the other guys in the gym.

I made the decision that it was more important for me to be physically attractive to women, than it was to impress the other gym rats.

I aimed to get a physique similar to Matthew McConaughey and haven't looked back since.

I don't care if the guys in my gym think that Matthew McConaughey is a wimp...women drool over this guy. Aim for The Male Fitness Model Look  and Don't Look Back!

21 Days to a Vacation Body - Look Awesome on the Beach

What is the Ideal Vacation Body?

If you look better in minimal clothes than you do covered up, you have achieved a great vacation body. This look is attained by minimal body fat.

A lot of people look great with their clothes on, but much less impressive in swim wear. It is possible to have a lot of muscle and fill out a shirt well, but if you can't see your abs then you won't look your best in swim wear.

Attaining a Vacation Body will Make Your Face More Attractive as Well

A really nice benefit of lowering your body fat percentage is that it gives you a leaner square-jawed face as well.

One of the reasons GQ models and Abercrombie Models get down to low body fat is to make their face more appealing.

With women it emphasizes their cheek bones and gives them a model look. If you drop off 10-15 pounds of body fat in your quest to get a vacation body, your face will definitely become more attractive.

The Simple 21 Day Program to a Vacation Body

Don't let the simplicity here fool you...this program works. Here it is in a nutshell.

1) Perform At Least 1 Hour of Cardio Each Day for the 21 Days Before Your Vacation

2) Make Sure That At Least 20 Minutes of This Cardio is Intense

3) Don't Eat Any Calories at All for 4 hours Before or 1 Hour After Your Cardio Workout

4) Figure Out The Ideal Weight Your Are Shooting For and Multiply it by 8. This Number is the  Maximum Amount of Calories You Will Consume Each Day.

5) Grab a Cup of Plain Black Coffee if You Want Extra Energy for Your Workout

6) Hit the Weights as Much or as Little as You Like for These 21 Days

Lifting Weights is Secondary to Cardio When You Are Striving for a Vacation Body

Since your focus is losing body fat, you really don't need to obsess over lifting weights hard during this time. If you have the energy to hit the weights hard, then go for it.

If the low calories and cardio are wearing you out, then skip the lifting.

Muscle tone is mainly a function of low body fat percentage. You will see very good muscle definition all over your body if you get your body fat low enough.

It Isn't Easy to Get a Vacation Body, But it Is Simple!

I bet less than 1% of the population have ever worked out for at least an hour a day for 21 days in a row.

The way I look at it is this...if you want to look better than 99% of the people out there then you will have to outwork 99% of the people.

If you accomplish this 21 day stretch, I guarantee that you will be pumped about the results. You will also gain the confidence that comes with knowing that you are more self-disciplined than 99% of the population.

Just 21 Days to a Vacation Body...Time to Get To It!

4 Steps To Creating A Workout Plan - How To Create Your Own Workout Plan

No Reason To Hire A Personal Trainer...Design Your Own Workout Plan

I am frustrated with the info given out by most personal trainers. Honestly, they seem to use a cookie cutter workout plan, which they believe will work for everyone.

I think for a beginner, there is some value in having a personal trainer...I just think that once you get the basics down, you are better served to come out with your own workout program.

Designing a workout plan is actually much easier than most people think.

Step number one: List your specific goals and choose a role model.

If you are looking to lose bodyfat, then you are going to want to focus a lot of your workout plan on cardio.

If you are looking to gain muscle size, then it makes sense to spend a large percentage of your workout program focusing on lifting weights.

I think it helps to find a role model. My personal role model is Brad Pitt in Fight Club. In that movie he is very lean and compact.

I have developed my workout program in a way that maximizes fat loss, so 75% of my workout is on cardio and 25% lifting weights. This workout plan allows me to maintain a very lean look year round.

Step number two: Decide how much time you are going to devote to exercise.

In designing your workout routine, you are going to have to figure out how many days you will be able to workout.

Contrary to popular opinion, I think you do need to workout 4-5 days minimum to achieve great results.

Many personal trainers have their clients perform workout plans 3 days per week. The body was meant to get daily exercise.

The people in the best shape I know perform at least some exercise every day. If you have 7-8 total hours to devote to a workout program, you will get better results spreading those 8 hours over 6-7 days -vs.- having three 2-hour workouts.

As an example....Matthew McConaughey simply tries to work up a sweat for at least one hour every day. That is a simple technique that obviously gets great results.

Step Three: Pick exercises that are right for you.

What I typically see is the trainer taking every person through the exact same workout program, regardless of their body type. I have also heard people complaining that a certain exercise hurts them.

The problem is that the personal trainer simply can't get into your head and know what the exercise feels like to you. For instance, I have a spinal injury so I have to avoid any type of crunch exercise in my workout program.

Only you know how a certain exercise feels to you. I use a lot of dumbbells in my workout program, since I can really feel them working my muscle.

If I was a personal trainer I would probably design workout programs for my clients using dumbbell exercises. This would be a big mistake, since many people get a better workout using barbells or machines.

Step Four: Educate yourself about fitness.

My advice is to educate yourself using the Internet and then come up with your own workout program that is perfect for you.

Not only will you experience greater results, you will save time and money getting to your goals. There are several great resources online which will help you create your ideal body.

Finding a really good e-book will cost less than the price of one session with a personal trainer. In no time flat you can easily design a solid workout program and fine tune it over time.
