Justin Bieber Trying To Build Muscle - Will Justin Bieber Become Muscular?


Pop sensation Justin Bieber is reportedly trying to build up some muscle mass. The 18-year-old singing superstar told Access Hollywood that he’s working on his “guns".

"I’m doing different things, different work outs”.“We do a lot of body weight stuff, just trying to put on some muscle, get some guns going on,” said Bieber in the interview with Billy Bush and Kit Hoover.


There Were Rumours Justin Was Aiming For A Taylor Lautner Type Physique 

Apparently, Justin Bieber has been working on gaining muscle a long time now. There were once rumours  that he was aiming to get ripped like Taylor Lautner, who at the age of 17 successfully built a very impressive muscular physique to play his character Jacob Black in Twilight: New Moon.

Justin Bieber's hard work in the gym seem to be paying off a little because the singer was confident enough to show-off his physique in a photo shoot with Seventeen Magazine.

However, if Justin Bieber wants to look ripped like Taylor Lautner, he still has a lot of work to do.

Will Justin Bieber gain muscle and get an impressive muscular body that'll have everyone talking? Well, that depends on a number of factors which we will discuss below.


Where Justin Has An Advantage 

Justin Bieber has one clear advantage when it comes to putting on muscle mass: He is pretty young and just began to work out.

Young guys in their late teens to mid twenties can  build muscle mass rapidly by eating right and working out hard.

However, there are obstacles that can prevent some young guys from gaining the body that they desire.

Genetics plays a critical role in the way by which guys gain muscle as well as how they effectively manage body fat.

In order to get a lean and muscular body that'll look impressive to most people you want to put on a good amount of muscle mass without fat.

What Justin Bieber Needs To Do


In order for Justin Bieber to effectively and properly build up muscle mass, he needs to work with the right diet and workout program for his specific condition and body type. 

Justin Bieber  looks like an Ectomorph - which is the body type that find it harder to put on muscle mass. 

Therefore, he'll need to eat a good level above maintenance, lift heavy and be consistent with his training in to build up bigger muscle.

Justin will need to spend some time on the big compound lifts - such as squats and deadlift, which is very effective for building up muscle.

The singer should also limit cardio to help him gain weight in the fastest and most effective way.

He'll need to work with the right volume of sets and reps with very short rest periods between sets, lift heavy enough to stress the muscle in each workout session and make sure his muscles get enough rest for recovery.

Can Justin really endure this stuff to build muscle?

 Working Out To Build Muscle Is A Lot Of Physical Pressure 

Taylor Lautner was an active participant in martial arts before he started weight training, which may have helped prepared him physically for his training to build muscle.

I believe I read Justin played hockey and football when he was young, and he's also an active performer on stage, so he is not physically awkward.

However, another factor that drove Taylor Lautner to work hard at building his body was his career depended on it.

It was a necessity for Jacob Black to look more muscular for New Moon. Taylor Lautner knew he had to work hard to give his character the required appearance.

Justin Bieber on the other hand don't have anything to lose if  he do not get a muscular body. But once he develop the right mindset, work hard and stick to his program he'll succeed at getting ripped.

Whatever Justin needs to do in order to successfully pack on muscle he'll be guided accordingly by his well paid personal trainer.
